My Special World® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, EIN 88-1555030, based in Phoenix, Arizona. This website is ours, and using it means accepting what is on this page.

VIP Empowerment Nights cost the guest and their family nothing. There is no ticket, no fee, and nobody will ask you for money at an event. We are funded by donors and sponsors.

Registering does not guarantee a seat. Seats are limited by the vehicle, and guests who have never attended before are given the first chance at a place. We will always tell you either way.

Before a guest attends, an adult signs two releases: one about photography and video, and one about transportation and safety. Those documents, not this page, set out what you are agreeing to, and you get a copy of what you signed. Nothing here changes or overrides them.

We may cancel or reschedule an event, and we will tell everyone registered as soon as we know. If you cannot come, tell us, because somebody else is waiting for that seat.

We can decline or end a registration if somebody’s behaviour puts other guests at risk. That is a decision about safety, never about disability.

If you submit music, a photograph or a video, you are telling us that it is yours to send and that you are giving us permission to use it on this site and in our social media and press materials, with credit where a name is given. You keep ownership of your own work.

If you appear in a photograph somebody else submitted and you would rather not be shown, email us and we will take it down. You do not have to explain why.

Do not send us anything that is not yours, or anything that identifies another person’s child without their family’s permission.

Comments left on photographs are read by a person before they appear. We will not publish anything abusive, and we will not publish anything that identifies a guest who has not chosen to be identified.

“My Special World”, “Embrace Your Power”, “Empower. Inspire. Thrive.” and “Smiles Win” are our marks, along with our logo. Please do not use them to suggest we endorse something, or in a way that implies a partnership we do not have. Press and partners: our media kit sets out what you may use, and you are welcome to ask.

We work to keep the information here accurate and the site available, but we cannot promise it will never be wrong or never be down. Event details can change; the event page is the current version.

This site links to other places, including our social media and our donation processor. We are not responsible for what happens on somebody else’s website.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

This site is built for people with disabilities to use, which means we treat an accessibility problem as a bug rather than a suggestion. If something here is hard to use with a screen reader, a keyboard, or on a phone, please tell us and we will fix it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
