For the press

Be the one who tells this story

A guest steps out of a limousine onto a red carpet. A crowd is chanting their name. They have spent most of their life being looked past, and tonight they are the most important person in the room. That happens at every VIP Empowerment Night we run, and it is over in a second if nobody is there to catch it.

What you get from us

  • Advance notice. A media advisory before each event with the date, time, address, and venue footage, so you can plan rather than scramble.
  • Assets already cleared. Photos and video released for publication with credit. No licensing, no chasing permissions, no waiting on a guardian.
  • People who want to talk. Families who are glad to be asked, and a director who will get you an interview the same day you ask for it.
  • Access on the night. A spot on the carpet, room to shoot, and somebody whose job is making sure you get what you came for.

What your coverage does

This is not a story that disappears the day after it runs. Coverage is how the next family finds out these nights exist. It is how a business decides to pay for the limousines. It is how a room full of people who are used to being overlooked get to see themselves on the news like anybody else.

We name every outlet that tells this story, on our site and from the stage at the next event. Our community remembers who showed up for them, and so do we.

A few emails a year, only when something real is happening.

Where the advisories and press kits go.

Only if you would rather we call on deadline.

Helps us send you the angle you would actually run, rather than everything.

A few emails a year, only when there is a real event. Ask us to stop and we stop the same day. We never sell or share your details.

Need a guest? Brandon will come to you.

Brandon Riggs founded My Special World® and runs every one of these nights himself. He is happy to come on air or sit down with you and talk about the work: why a red carpet changes how somebody sees themselves, what families in the Valley are actually up against, and how a night like this comes together.

Studio, phone, video call, or on location at an event, whatever suits your format. He is also glad to speak at your station's community events. Just ask.
